going from an F to a C is an improvement in school, but it still won't get you on the honor roll...meaning, GM may have gotten a little better (which i acknowledge in some cars), but it still isn't close to the top dog in the industry who always gets an A (Toyota)...i'm not saying every car they made in the 90s and 2000s was crap...but the quality in many cars is still poor compared to competitors from overseas...when i was at the auto show this year, i noticed many things in GM cars that were disappointing there was even an article in Road & Track (or maybe C&D?) a few months back specifically on how American interiors were complete crap made of all plastic and cheap material...the article stated that only VERY recently (and in some cases only on the expensive models) had they started to make something that people actually like
